In this exciting role, you will participate in the following:

The Graphic Designer will be an integral member of the Fragrance team. This position will support Personal Care and Home Care categories and other categories for North America. Conduct NA regional, global market analysis of categories and track cross category developments. Identify emerging consumer trends and themes and relate them to opportunities for clients. Create and present packaging concepts for candles and personal care, brand solutions and ideas supported by sound market information. Connect and relate to client needs for their brands and be a source of inspiration with proactive concepts and programs. Responsible for working closely with Evaluation Team to develop designs for home care and personal care for the seasonal trend presentations and concepts to support categories

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain packaging solutions for home care and personal care categories for existing brands, product development of new brands, and private label products ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Produce concepts and artwork for promotional materials for POP displays, product sheets, signage, brochures, presentations, etc.
  • Create promotional materials to support the company’s profile, technologies, and tradeshows.
  • Create and communicate conceptual design ideas and carry out the execution of those ideas across various applications
  • Create realistic renderings of products and displays with Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Proof, prepare and collect print-ready files for a wide range of printing formats
  • Stay on top of trends within retail environment to ensure delivery of on-trend branding, product concepts, packaging, etc.
  • Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
  • Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
  • Working with cross category groups to create brand directions and guidelines
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
  • Perform retouching and manipulation of images

Your professional profile includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in graphic arts, design, communications, marketing, or related field.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in graphic design, also open to having designers right out of school with strong portfolio
  • 1+ years relevant experience in Flavor, Fragrance, Food, Additives or Nutraceuticals Industry
  • Knowledge of product development and project management
  • Firm understanding of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design software
  • Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects, candles, and personal care a plus!
  • Print and pattern experience a plus!
  • Illustration skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with design, flexible and able to pivot.
  • Ability to take feedback and constructive criticism.

  • Physical Capabilities:
    • Strength (lifting, dexterity, repetitive motion):
      • Must be able to lift 15lbs onto waist high shelves.
      • Must be able to lift and carry a min of 15lbs.
      • Movement: Employee will frequently use fingers, walk and distinguish basic colors. Employee will continuously use both hands, sit for extended periods of time, and use rapid or well-developed coordination simultaneously.
      • Hearing: Must be able to hear and understand work direction in a loud, distracting environment.
    • Vision: Must be able to judge distance, identify details, and view computer screen regularly.
