Due to increasing business activity and to further build upon our continued success, Belle Aire Creations is seeking an additional role and are recruiting for a ‘Marketing Specialist” to add to the existing team.
Our Marketing Team Members have the opportunity to inform and educate the various products, services and identity of Belle Aire Creations. Marketing team members will support domestic and global business opportunities from concept to creation. Our team monitors consumer preferences, proprietary industry reports and trends throughout all media channels, thus creating tailor-made marketing materials for various fragrance/flavors and malodor abatement markets.
In this exciting role, you will participate in the following:
Marketing Specialist:
- Conduct market research and identify trends
- Support the marketing department’s initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing
- Manage relationships with partners to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing content, and to ensure competitiveness
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
- Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
- Consumer understanding: Have experience with market insights, protocols, practices, and a broad understanding of consumers.
- Develop the olfactory strategy for customers, markets, categories, and guide the Perfumery team.
- Manage multiple complex briefs from partners and develop or select fragrances with the help of Evaluation, according to the given brief guidelines.
- Establish fragrances to be tested and coordinate with the Belle Aire Creations’ Evaluation team.
- Translate Consumer Market Insight research into olfactory guidelines for Perfumers.
- Contribute to the olfactory analysis of new products to identify interesting notes for creative development.
- Develop new fragrances with Creative Team.
- Work with the Creative Team including, Perfumers and Evaluators.
- Some travel for presentations.
Positioning and Marketing:
- Anticipate market scents and tastes, work with marketing colleagues on concept generation.
- Write olfactory stories and concept decks based on region/market and for the purpose of partners for knowledge-building and sharing.
- Conduct customer presentations/interactions.
- Write fragrance descriptions linked to marketing trends.
- Manage the project pipeline of customer briefs and other internal projects.
- Ensure efficient execution of projects with a focus on improving the win rate, partner engagement, and speed of response.
Customer Engagement:
- Contribute to win briefs by creating content based on customer identity.
- Actively participate in meeting customers and preparing material for their on-site and off-site visits.
- Proactively provide the Sales/Key Accounts team with inputs for their account development plans.
Your professional profile includes:
- A Bachelors or University Degree in a relevant discipline (Marketing/Communications).
- 5 years relevant experience in Marketing (Fragrance/Flavors)
- Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
- Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
- Project Management skills: Manage the time of self and the team to contribute to the successful execution of projects.
- IT skills – Proficiency in using common PC applications
- Excellent presentations skills
- Exceptional Skills in the Adobe Creative Suite. Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign are required
- Basic Knowledge of web design is a plus
- Must have professional and or creative portfolio to view past and present accomplishments, idea insights and actual campaigns to learn about candidate.
